As my regular readers will know, I share my weekly adventures with you in my Project 365 posts, but we have had a couple of amazing days out in October and I would like to share them with you.
First, we had a great time making Halloween crafts.
On October 17 we visited our local Pumpkin Farm in Haverfordwest. We left it too late last year, and they sold out of pumpkins. This year, the farmer decided to bring all the pumpkins into one field, as he said last year it got way too muddy when he left them in the field where they grew. Mummy was a bit disappointed not to see them like that, but we still had a great time and some great photos.
The day after, on Sunday 18th we went on a lovely walk through Colby Woodland. I dressed up as a little bat (again!), and had a great time. We had lunch in Amroth which is a tiny village on the coast, then walked up to the tea rooms at Colby. It was such a lovely day, we sat outside.
We had a great Half Term at the end of October, the weather was warm, sunny and dry except for the Tuesday which was very wet. We visited The National Botanical Garden of Wales – my first visit, which we will be sharing with you soon. The biggest news of half term was that I mastered the potty! As this is being written, I am nappy free and dry during the day 🙂 Mummy is so happy, and so am I (now that I have got used to it!) I also went to my first birthday party on the Thursday, and had my face painted for the first time.
For Halloween, on the Friday I had a little party – it was to celebrate my 3rd Birthday too. At night we went on the Trick or Treat Trail in Saundersfoot. It was dry, warm and a brilliant night. I had my first sweeties – Haribos! I haven’t had any before, and asked Mummy how to bite them!
So, we are now in November – Bonfire Night is this week, big sis Lea is 16 next month, Christmas is next month and the year is nearly over. How was your October?
