Pickle says…I LOVE Playmobil and LOVE being a Playmobil Playologist. This means I am a very lucky boy indeed, and get sent some of the latest, most awesome sets possible! I was recently sent some brand new Playmobil Dragons sets based on the Dreamworks How to Train Your Dragon film. What did I think of them?
Well, I thought they were FANTASTIC!
What are they?
I was sent the playset 9246 Hiccup & Toothless £29.99 and 9243 Berk Island £119.99.
Why did I love them so much?
Hiccup & Toothless includes Toothless the Dragon, with missile shooting mouth and a light up back. He has Hiccup with him, and is just gorgeous. He is big and I love playing with him.
Berk Island is incredible, it comes with Hiccup with a flame sword, Hiccups father, Stoik, two dragons and has loads of features including a light up torch, a Viking statue with light up fire in his mouth, a secret trap door, a working hoist, a missile firing cross bow and a rock flinging catapult. It is SO much fun to play with.
Why did Mummy love them so much?
Playmobil toys are always such great quality being a top manufacturer within preschool toys, and so easy to assemble due to the full colour instruction booklet. It took quite a while to put Berk Island together but it was worth it. It is sturdy, has great features and Pickle plays with it for hours.
They are great sets, and there are other fantastic Playmobil Dreamworks Dragons sets available too.

I would love this more than my daughter! I adore ‘How To Train Your Dragon’. We have loads of the little plush toys at home. I’m very jealous you’re a playmobil playologist. We absolutely adore their toys. They are such a great tool for helping to ignite independent and imaginative play. x

This looks so awesome. I mean it really does look the same as the films. It looks really big so it would be great to play alongside other toys to have a ‘ride’ on the dragon. Absolutely love this.

Lucky Pickle! Both my boys LOVE Playmobil but so far it has mostly been the pirate and police stuff. Funnily enough we just got the How To Train Your Dragon books so this would be awesome for them. x
