Did you know that not only is it the Olympics in Rio this summer – it was also my first School Sports Day! I did have my very first sports day ever last year in my Nursery, but this was my first school one. Mummy wanted to remember this special day, and as a Bostik Blogger, Mummy had the great idea of making a Sports Day Memory Picture.
Using some of the great craft supplies in this months box, we set to making my Sports Day Memory Picture.
We wanted to remember the weather, so chose blue sky. We added some clouds as it was a little cloudy too.
Big sister Lea helped me make a picture of me, with my light curly hair, which was crumpled up tissue paper glued onto a foam cut out of a person.
We added my shorts and T Shirt, and my face!
We popped a finish line into the picture with some braid, although in my real sports day we didn’t have a finish line – and every one of us had a fab sticker for being so good. This is to remind us that there was no finish line!
I took part in the running race, the beanbag race, the egg and spoon which was actually a plastic ball and a scoop – genius idea (said Mummy!) and the hoola hoop race. One which was a great success was the space hopper race. I even made it into our local newspaper!
So here is my finished Sports Day Memory Picture – what do you think? You could have a go at making your own memory picture to remember a special day.
