Photo a day Week 6

Another busy week here in the Pickle household! We are in Cornwall right now and will share our mini beak with yo next week.

Sunday 7 February – A bright sunny start to the day, Mummy, Lea and I headed to our favourite Marina before it rained. Luke was at friends after a sleep over. The weather turned in the afternoon and became rainy and windy. Overnight was horrendous with gales, rain and a thunderstorm.

Monday 8 February – Weather awful. We picked Nana and Grandad up and went to our favourite garden centre coffee shop where there is plenty of room for me to spread out with my books and toys. School, I was ok. I still ask Mummy to ask Miss if it is ok for me to be shy.

Tuesday 9 February – Lovely bright sunny morning after yesterday! Mummy went to work, and although I wasn’t very happy – my face wanted to cry – I didn’t, I was ok. She finished early again to be back to take me to school. I was ok. I had a pancake in school, as it’s Pancake Day. The afternoon was rainy, windy and stormy again.

Wednesday 10 February – Gosh the weather is crazy! Today was a beautiful, sunny morning. Chilly, but in the sun on the beach it was quite warm! I had a little explore on the beach before we headed up to Nana’s before school. After school we had a real treat and went to Bluestone Wales to see biggest sister who is staying there with L and two friends. We met in the pub or a drink. I was SO happy to see them. We haven’t seen them since Christmas. We are sharing two photos for today as Mummy didn’t take one for tomorrow!

Thursday 11 February – Bright sunny chilly day again, but heavy showers too. Lea had her college interview for the music course she really wants to do. The tutor said he is 95% sure she has a place, he just has to listen to her composition she has made. Afterwards we travelled to Cardiff to stay overnight so we are a bit further on our journey to Cornwall.

Friday 12 Febuary – We slept ok, and had breakfast in Costa before heading off to Cornwall at around 11am. It was another three hour journey. There were heavy showers, and we stopped somewhere on the M5 for twenty minutes. We arrived at 2.30pm. Look  out for our posts about our long weekend and how it goes, and our next Photo a Day post next week. There is no photo today as Mummy is sat in the bar trying to upload this post and the wifi keeps going off!

We hope you have a great half term.

  13. It’s such a British thing to comment about the weather – but it really has been mad! Had some gorgeous sunny days this week and then today rain/sleet/snow! Spent the whole day inside with lots of Legos – not one of the kids complained as it was so grim outside!

Hope you have a great break – Cornwall is lovely (when it stops raining!) 😉
