Have you heard of the fantastic Lost my Name book? I have a fantastic competition for you to win one for your child.

Last year I was sent one of these gorgeous books to review, and it was completely personalised just for me.  It’s called The Little Boy who lost his Name, and it is one of the loveliest books I have ever seen. It would make a beautiful gift for a baby as a keepsake, or for an older child.
The book is about a little boy who loses his name and goes on a big adventure to find it again.
He searches and searches, and one by one, he is given the letters to spell his name by all sorts of wonderful creatures.
And guess what the little boys name is? My name!
This gorgeous book is available for little boys and little girls aged 2-6 years old.
My Lost Name is three dads and an uncle, who started it as a DIY project. It is 100% independent, self-published and self-funded. It is digitally printed in the UK on thick uncoated environmentally friendly paper, and is size A4 landscape. It is such a quality book.
You can create your book at www.lostmy.name
I have a personalised book to give away to one lucky reader, what a great prize!

  1. I’ve never heard of this book but it sounds lovely. I didn’t actually choose my sons name, he had no name until day 6 when my mum looked at him and said he needed to be called something regal and decided she thought he looked like an Arthur. We loved it so the name stuck.

  7. Our children’s first names were names we liked after looking through names books. Their middle names are the names of family members past and present.

  8. My daughter was named Jasmine – because we like names with meaning and it’s a beautiful flower.

  9. My eldest is called Jessica Susan Skye. Jessica was my husbands choice. Susan was after my husband’s Mum who sadly died of cancer and Skye was because I wanted some input into her name!

Our second is called Alexandra Anna Rose. Alexandra was on my baby name list since was 10, Anna is my Mum’s name and Rose was my hubby’s choice.

  10. Would have loved one of these as a child! Children always get super excited when it’s their own name 🙂 Great giveaway!

  18. I have seen these pop up on my facebook newsfeed a lot, but I have been wanting one for Penny for a while as her name isn’t on many things. I also have my husband’s godson Stanley who has the same issue.

In regard to how we named Penny, it was a name that we both liked. I wasn’t sure towards the end of my pregnancy but then we met a midwife the night Penny was born and it just felt right x

  39. I really liked the name Lily but hubbie said it sounded like the name of a boat (her middle name was always going to be Rose) so I then said what about Amelia.

My son on the other hand…. We just couldn’t decide. It was between Joshua and Zach.
Joshua won in the end 🙂
