Pickle says… October has absolutely flown by – the highlight of the whole month was my 6th birthday on the 12th. Here is what else we have been up to….

October Catch Up

The weather has generally been beautiful – dry and sunny. The sort of Autumn days we love which start of very cold and warm up in the afternoon. We have enjoyed lots of walks in the sunshine.

I have been really enjoying breakfast club at school, I go three mornings a week. I get to play with my friends and have a second breakfast too!

I have been to kick boxing with one of my best friends J a few times, I really enjoy it, but hurt my leg when I tripped over a log in school, so didn’t go last week.

Although we have had mostly good weather, we had nasty storms on my birthday, and the venue where Mummy had booked my party had a complete power cut so the party was cancelled. My friends still turned up and we had an indoor picnic and my birthday cake. The good thing was that we had my proper party the week after!

Mummy took me to a really cute Pumpkin Patch and we chose a pumpkin. We went with friends and had some great photos!

I had a playdate at another friends E on the 20th, I was very excited as I hadn’t been to his house before. HIs Mummy took us to McDonalds for a treat for tea.

Last Friday evening and Saturday the weather was awful – well it would be as it the start of our half term! We met friends on Friday night for tea in the village chip shop, then did the Trick or Treat Trail, where we went to shops and cafes to collect sweeties. I dressed as the grim reaper! We just about managed to dodge the rain showers and finished with a go on the trampolines at the mini fair on the harbour.

This weekend we travelled to London to see big sis Lea who is in Uni there. We are visiting Legoland for two days and Lea is coming too. We have been watching the rides on You Tube as I have never been before – I am SO excited.

We travel home on Thursday after spending the night in Bristol, and will enjoy the rest of half term at home.

How has your October been?
