Pickle says… I am quite a good eater, and one thing I do like and eat quite a lot of is chicken. We all do actually. Mummy is really quite fussy about the food she buys, and does like frozen options so that she knows she can feed us all when time is short. Mummy has been quite surprised by Birds Eye frozen chicken …..

Surprised by Birds Eye Frozen Chicken

Being a single Mummy to us all, and working for herself, time is a huge issue in our house, especially on week nights. It would be so easy to have ready meals, or pizza for tea, but Mummy really wants us to eat as healthily as we can.

She likes keeping the freezer full of good food for us and has been really surprised by the Bird Eye frozen chicken range.

Not only are the products made with 100% Chicken Breast and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, but they are Mumsnet Rated with 202 of 225 Mumsnet testers saying they’d recommend Birds Eye Frozen Chicken. Birds Eye take the quality of their food very seriously indeed, and over the last 2 years they have upgraded the quality of the entire chicken range.

You may think that frozen chicken products are full of ‘rubbish’ or mushy filler food, but that is just not so with Birds Eye.

  1. Really good to read about their commitment to reducing the waste produced from their products! I am also a bit of a foodie and never even check the freezers for fear the food is full of rubbish! But I’ll definitely check these out now for my little girl 🙂

  3. So great for a quick meal and I love that they’re doing their bit to stop the plastic pollution (although a little faster than 2025 would be great!).

  4. I am a big fan of chicken dippers. In fact, I kinda have them to thank for my first proper relationship – haha! When I was a teenager, I brought some chicken dippers into school for the guy I fancied (he knew I’d had them for dinner the night before and jokingly asked me to bring some in for him). It worked! Haha x

  5. They look good, but I worry about the salt content in these kinds of things. Good to see a company working on reducing plastic though.

  6. Sounds like a great brand for moms to try! I think the kids will love it as well. I like that they’re also working towards reducing plastic waste, that’s a good company to support.

  7. My kids love the chicken nuggets, and as a mum with a chronic illness which means i don’t always have the energy to cook from scratch, they really are a great item to have handy in the freezer.
