Pickle says… This week we are VERY late with our weekly photos We have been away for half term, and visiting my Great Nan who is 97! These photos are from 16 February and a flying visit to London….
A quiet week for us, but Mummy and Lea headed off to London on Friday morning for Lea’s audition for ICMP. It is a private University for Music. Lea will be studying a Creative Musicianship Degree. She has launched her career as a solo singer / songwriter and this is the next crucial step in her journey.
Mummy drove – we were reviewing a gorgeous Kia Sportage – to the Wembley International Hotel. They then hopped on the tube to Kilburn where ICMP is.
Lea was super nervous and super excited. She had to perform one of her own songs in front of a tutor, and also show another of her songs on her SoundCloud account.
Mummy went and had a coffee during the audition, feeling sick with nerves for Lea!
Lea SMASHED it! She was given an unconditional offer which means that she is guaranteed a place in September no matter what her collage grades are. She is on track for Distinctions anyway, but it has taken away so much pressure and worry knowing that she is IN! Mummy took Lea to Nando’s to celebrate, they then drank wine in the hotel whilst binge watching Celebs Go Dating!
Well done Lea, we are all SO proud of you.
