January Project 366 Weeks 2 and 3

Here are our last two weeks of our lives and what we have been up to. We wanted to post weekly, but never mind, better late than never. We hope you enjoy our Project 366 post.

project 366

January 10 – Mummy still not fully better, we had a cwtchy lazy day at home. The weather is so mixed, if the sun shines, it is for such a short time, then it rains again. We did pop to Tesco and I got some fab new Batman Hot Wheel cars.

January 11 – Cold, wet, windy. Rain again – the roads are starting to flood quicker and deeper as more rain falls. Mummy and I went to the warm cosy coffee shop at the garden centre. School – I was ok-ish. I am still not terribly happy. I drew a picture of Mummy today, and played with cars. I played outside and got stuck in some sticks. That is all I told Mummy! My friends got stuck too. It was too muddy on the grass.

January 12 – Mummy didn’t go to work again as she wants me to settle in properly at school, so she was with me in the morning at Nana’s. Nice sunny start, but freezing cold. Bitter wind. It soon clouded over and rain set in by the evening. I was ok going to school. I don’t want to go though. I love my bedtime stories and have had some lovely new books.

January 13 – A brightish start to the day but colder then rainy – awful weather. School was ok. Mummy stopped to take this photo of Tenby harbour and the sun.

January 14 – Beautiful start to the day – very cold but bright and sunny. Went into Saundersfoot first thing. The sea was so high, but very calm.

January 15 – Lovely day – very cold but bright and sunny. I had a cuddle with Chico first thing. We went into Tenby for a little walk about, and nice coffee with Nana. A play at Nan’s before school. Lea had a big day playing her first music composition for her music teacher, she wants to do Music Technology in college in September. Nice coffee after school as Nan and Grandad wanted to see her (and Luke).

January 16th – Went to Carmarthen shopping. I had some pocket money from Daddy and went into the toy shop 🙂

January 17th – Managed a quick walk at our favourite marina before the rain set in again.

January 18th – Met Daddy first thing then Nan for a coffee. I went to school – it is ok, I am still not terribly happy about going. Nana and Grandad’s 47th Wedding Anniversary. Rain. School again. We have a new series on the blog to boost everyone (hopefully!)

January 19th – Narberth with Nan.  Mummy didn’t go to work – I am better at going to school, but very quiet. I just want to be with Mummy. I do enjoy it when I am there and am starting to tell Mummy about some friends I have made. The weather was not great. Again.

January 20th – Woke to first frost of the winter! Bright sunny morning. I was home poorly today, Luke too. Coughs, colds, temperature etc. No school today.

January 21st -All home today – stayed in, weather awful. Did pop out for a nice coffee as we were going a bit stir crazy!

January 22nd – Wet wild night but turned into a beautiful day! 14 degrees but dry and sunny too! We went to my cousins for tea – he is 20 tomorrow! 20! I wore my lovely new coat with dragons on.

January 23rd – A little bit of sun – which didn’t last and turned to rain. The last few days we have just been home mainly, hiding from the rain whilst getting better. We popped out to meet Daddy, but were home apart from that. No photo today 🙁

  1. Ickle Pickle is so precious. Sounds like he would prefer to stay home and snuggle with Chico and hang out with Mom. Enjoy it while you can as soon he will be hanging out with his friends and want to be independent.

  3. Lovely post, hope you’ve all recovered from being poorly now? It’s been a funny January, I always think of it as being frosty and having loads of snow but we’ve spent most of the time like you hiding indoors from the horrible rain. Pocket money and toy shops sound good though 🙂 xx
