Regular readers will remember that we were reviewing the Karcher K4 Compact Pressure Washer and our project was cleaning our manky drive!
Well, last week, my fab cousin and Grandad came over to test the K4 Compact Pressure Washer and they loved it! So much so, that it found it’s way back to Grandad’s for some more ‘testing!
Our drive before it was pressure washed was black, slimy moss was growing and it was slippy too. It looked horrible and it was starting to be dangerous.
We were excited to see what the pressure washer would make of it!
It is super powerful, and made light work of our drive.
The end result is fantastic- it only took a couple of hours, and we were so pleased with how it looks.
There are so many features to this pressure washer that make it a brilliant choice:
“The Kärcher K4 Compact Home pressure washer comes with all the cleaning power and energy efficiency delivered by our larger models, but conveniently designed for smaller storage areas and easier manoeuvring thanks to its aluminium telescopic handle and wheels. Delivering up to 130 bar pressure and designed with a 1800W water-cooled motor, the K4 Compact Home pressure water has an impressive capacity during tough cleaning tasks. For added cleaning power, the aluminium telescopic handle plus Vario and Dirtblaster lances provide up to 50% greater cleaning power than a standard high pressure lance. Set up quickly with the help of the Quick Connect system, which prevents kinking, while the filter suction capacity allows the device to harvest water from tanks and other open sources. The set comes with the versatile T350 patio cleaner and detergent, perfect for cleaning a variety of smooth and uneven surfaces such as decking, lattices and brick walls. The Kärcher K4 Compact Home pressure washer comes with a 3-year guarantee.”
The K4 Compact Pressure washer comes with
- Dirt Blaster lance
- 6m high-pressure hose
- Vario Power Jet lance
- Integrated water filter
- High-pressure gun with Quick Connect
- Home kit with 3-in-1 Cleaner and Patio cleaner detergent
The K4 was so easy to use. The high pressure hose and gun click easily and quickly into place, we just needed a hose pipe to connect to a tap for the water. You can also use water from a tank or similar due to the machines ‘filter suction capacity.’
Matt found the pressure washer easy to move around and use, and very powerful.
Full information about the K4 Compact Pressure Washer are on the website along with full details of how to buy. It currently retails at £232 plus delivery.
What do you think about the results? Do you use a pressure washer?

I always wanted a pressure washer to get rid of all the weeds in the garden between the path gaps but they are very expensive though. #triedandtested

They are a brilliant piece of engineering aren’t they? Our Karcher is on its last legs but it has had some hammering over the years – a highly recommended purchase!

I’ve been searching for a decent review for a while now and after reading this and seeing your photo’s, I’m going to have to ask Santa for one I think!
