We were recently sent a fantastic jigsaw from THE name in jigsaws Ravensburger. The jigsaw is Happy Days Tenby.
Well, it was sent really for Mummy to review, as it has 1000 little pieces! It is a gorgeous jigsaw for adults and children aged 12+
Mummy was very excited as Tenby is our favourite town – we live nearby.
Everyone knows Tenby, and usually the pictures or photos that are used are the iconic photo across the bay to Castle Hill, showing the harbour and lifeboat station.
So it is lovely to see that this picture is of the gorgeous harbour itself.
The artist Kevin Walsh is maybe better known for his paintings of aircraft, but his paintings of landscapes and transport are becoming more popular too. His Happy Days series has been created especially for Ravensburger and many have become Limited Edition prints.
This picture of Tenby shows a sunny day with the busy harbour full of boats. Kevin captures the colourful Georgian buildings perfectly, along with the seagulls circling overhead ad people enjoying the beach.
The main features of the jigsaw are:
- It has 1000 sturdy pieces.
- Jigsaw picture shows the popular coastal harbour of Tenby.
- The jigsaw measures 70 x 50cm when completed.
- It is made from strong premium grade cardboard, with linen finish print to minimise glare on puzzle image.
- It is suitable for ages 12+
It is scene that is so familiar to us, it is lovely to see it as a jigsaw. Mummy hasn’t had chance to finish the jigsaw with the school holidays being very busy, but she will add a photo when she has. She just wanted to share with you how lovely the jigsaw is, in case you are starting to look for Christmas Presents.
You can also buy Happy Days , Brighton and Happy Days, Sidmouth.
The jigsaws are available on line from £11.99
