How to Catch a Star Review and Giveaway :)

I have been sent a beautiful 10 year Anniversary set of ‘How to Catch a Star’ by Oliver Jeffers.
It is an absolutely gorgeous book, a set of glow-in-the-dark stickers, a poster and a USB. Oliver Jeffers is a brilliant story writer, he also wrote Lost and Found, one of my favourite stories. This 10th Anniversary book is a really lovely book to have and to keep.

Mummy is going to stick the stars on my bedroom ceiling when I move into my new room. She will also put the poster up for me too. There are lots of activity sheets in my anniversary set, and my brother and sister are going to help me do them during the Easter Holidays.

Mummy has called me her little star since I was born, and loves books about stars.

‘Once there was a boy and the boy loved stars very much. Every night he watched the stars from his window and wished he had one of his very own…’

The story is about a little boy who really wants a star, and tries everything to catch one. Nothing seems to work, will he ever get one? I’m not telling you if he does, but there’s a lovely surprise at the end 🙂 I loved mummy reading the story to me and looking at the pictures. I love the drawings of the little boy.

It is a hard backed gift edition book, and really is lovely. It is beautiful quality, and the pictures are really wonderful. I love looking at this book with my mummy, and mummy says she is going to treasure it, so that I can enjoy it when I am bigger too.
