My First Scalextric

Mummy says…. ‘When I was a little girl, one of the best Christmas presents Santa brought me was a Scalextric. My eldest son Luke also has one – they are the ultimate in car racing toys. I was thrilled to be sent My First Scalextric for Pickle recently.

My First Scalextric

Now, I had planned on a vlog review for this, but I have been suffering a nasty eye virus recently, following an awful cold I had, and I have struggled with my work and been unable to vlog at all. I didn’t even know you could get a virus in your eyes! Pickle has also been poorly with a terrible cold, sore throat and hacking cough. A full review vlog will follow in the New Year.

Anyway, back to My First Scalextric, it is a fantastic set, with two rally cars, two hand controllers and a figure of 8 track. The track is really easy to snap together and pull apart. The cars are a little smaller than I expected.

The two cars and controllers are colour coded red and yellow to match the chevrons on the track. The Magnatraction technology helps to keep the cars on the track, and you can adjust the speed of the cars with the variable hand-controllers.

I love the fact that My First Scalextric is fully compatible with all the  My First Scalextric, so we can buy more cars and track to expand the initial set.

The space you need for the track is 108 x 61cm.

This set is perfect for children aged 3+ and is £39.99. There is free delivery on all orders over £30 on the website, and you can order for Christmas right up to 2pm on 20th December.

We were sent My First Scalextric in return for an honest review.
