First up is the Beets Blu Wireless Heart Rate Monitor.

Perfect for all the sporty dads out there, this wirelessly sends the heart rate to your Smart Phone or iPad (3 or later) up to 10 meters away.

The Heart Rate monitor has s soft chest strap, and works with many fitness apps too.

The instructions are clear and easy to understand, giving you step by step details of how to set up the monitor. It works with iOS and Andriod – you can check compatibility here.

You can buy the Wireless Heart Rate Monitor from Amazon.

We were also sent the Paper Tag from Beets Blu, a tiny device to track your valuables such as keys, handbag, camera etc.

You can find the location of the Paper Tag which you attach to your valuables, by sending an alarm request from your Smart Phone. The Paper Tag then sounds an alarm.

You can also find valuables by the sonar function – the Paper Tag becomes the source of a radio signal to show you where your valuables are in relation to your Smart Phone.

As well as this – which is pretty cool anyway, you can also use the Paper Tag as a remote control for your Smart Phone – to take a photo, start and stop music, or to set off an alarm on your PHONE – so you can find it! How clever is that?

You simply set up your Paper Tag to pair with your Smart Phone – it cannot be paired with more than one phone.

You do need BlueTooth Smart to work with Paper Tag, simply download the app from bsblu.com/ptios for IOS and bsblu.com/ptandr for Android.

Pop the battery into the Paper Tag and the app will detect it. You then accept pairing of the Paper Tag, and it is all set up. The app is easy to use to activate or disable the different functions.

You can buy the Beet Blu Paper Tag from Amazon for £20.

Don’t you agree that Beets Blu for Father’s Day are great?
