December Project 365

December has been a crazy busy month, which has just been and gone SO quickly. We have decided to share our month in photos without a diary entry of every day, just a mention of the highlights. This is the end of our second year of joining in Project 365 and we hope to continue in 2016.

december project 365

December started with my first visit to a pantomine – Alice in Wonderland in our village. My Grandad makes the scenery, my Nana helps make the costumes, my Aunty does the props, and see the King on the stage? That’s my Uncle! Our Christmas Tree went up on the 3rd –  I liked helping to decorate it. We had a couple of dryish days on the 2nd and 4th and managed to get some fresh air.

Cookie the Elf, Rodney and Rudolph arrived on the night of the 4th (yes, a bit late – Mummy said they got held up at the North Pole, helping Santa!) They brought me some lovely things including a Christmas jumper and Christmas pyjamas. I found them on the morning of the 5th :)

december project 365

On the 5th, we set off to visit Lapland UK for the first time, and had an amazing, magical time. I met the real Santa! You can read all about it here.

december project 365

We stayed over in Bristol at a lovely hotel. I like staying in hotels. We went into Bristol, but didn’t stay long as the weather was awful. We didn’t see MeeMee this time as she had been at a friends all night party. On the 7th, a miserable Monday morning, Mummy and I took Nana for nice coffee at a a local garden centre. We just relaxed there all morning! The next day this gorgeous coat arrived for me from Muddy Puddles.

Another fab surprise on the 9th – a personalised Thomas and Friends book for me. The 10th was big sister’s Lea’s 16th birthday. MeeMee and L were staying at Bluestone Wales, so we all spent the day there.

december project 365

The 11th was a very busy day. The morning was my playgroup nativity – I was a King, but got very nervous and wouldn’t do it. I did enjoy watching it though! In the afternoon, Mummy took me to my new school in the afternoon for the introductory session. I loved it! Mummy went last night to a meeting with other Mummy’s and Daddy’s and the teachers. I start on Monday 4th January for two hours a day in the afternoon.

december project 365

We had a lovely family lunch on Sunday 13 December to celebrate Lea’s birthday – and my uncle’s too whose is on the same day. We went to the nice garden centre again. Nana bought me a chocolate Christmas lolly. Mummy and I did some crafts on the 14th, and I made MeeMee a Christmas jar.

december project 365

Mummy went shopping on the 17th and I stayed home with Lea, we made Christmas puppets. There are two photos for the 18th, me with all the things I brought home from my last morning at playgroup, and Mummy and me with our Christmas jumpers!

december project 365

On the 20th we went for breakfast to the marina and a quick walk before it rained. I wrote my letter to Santa on the 21st. I was getting SO excited.

december project 365

On the 23rd we had a fantastic trip on a Santa Special at the Gwili Steam Railway, it was brilliant.

december project 365

I had the best Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day with my family, you can catch up with our Christmas here. I was Spider Man on the 27th – before we went to pick up L from the train station. He is coming to stay for a few days, yay!

december project 365

We chilled at home on the 28th – the weather has been awful, wet, windy and horrible. We did go out for drinks in the late afternoon to see Daddy. On Tuesday 29th we all went and met Nana and Grandad for nice coffee so they could see MeeMee and l. On the 30th, the last day they were here, Mummy took us out to a lovely cafe at the local ice cream farm for lunch. We managed some rare photos of us all together. New Years Eve was wet and horrible again. We went to my Aunty and Uncles for the night. It was so much fun – I stayed awake until 11.30pm!

So there it is. The last month of our year in photos. Quite an epic task, but looking back, it has been a wonderful way of capturing our adventures and travels of the year.

We hope you will join us on our journey in 2016.

Happy New Year!

Project 365 – a photo a day project.
