Vauxhall Crossland X review

We Review the Vauxhall Crossland X

We were very lucky to have recently reviewed the Vauxhall Crossland X. We had the car for a week and took it up to Manchester on our summer trip to visit family. How did we find it?

Vauxhall Crossland X review

Mummy has always loved Vauxhalls, we had a Vauxhall Zafira until recently. They are such lovely cars to drive, and the Crossland X was no exception.

It is a super funky, stylish looking car with a whole ton of fab features to keep the whole family happy – yes even the teens!

As a family of four, we found the size of the Vauxhall Crossland X great – it was however a little squashed in the back seat for us as a family of five. I do still have my big car seat though, and Lea and Luke are tall teens!

I loved:

How cool the car looked. How smooth it was when Mummy was driving. The sound of the stereo.

The Teens loved :

The comfy, adjustable half leather seats.

The smart phone connectivity and the On Star wifi on board the car. How awesome is that? The car itself is a wifi hotspot! They could add their apps to the Intellilink screen with Apple CarPlay™ and there was a wireless charging spot too!

Mummy loved:

The panoramic rear view parking camera – one of the clearest she has seen. It is 180° and gives a clear view of the area behind the car without needing to strain your neck.

The fact that when the Petrol Warning light came on the display showed the nearest petrol stations to us! That is so cool!

The LED headlights. I have no idea why, but Mummy has a slightly strange obsession with car headlights and she LOVED the fancy LED ones on the Vauxhall Crossland X. They are so powerful and are 30% brighter than halogen.

We had a manual, 6 speed, petrol 1.2 (130PS) Turbo with Start/Stop engine which Mummy was concerned may be a bit gutless but it was awesome! So quick and responsive and it flew up to Manchester with no problems at all. It was great on fuel too, averaging over 40mpg.

Other features are:

17″ Alloy Wheels

Only 4.21 metres in length

Advanced park assist

Forward collision alert with pedestrian detection and autonomous emergency braking

Lane departure warning

Traffic sign recognition and side blind-spot alert

Specially designed, AGR-certified seats for the driver and front passenger

Adjustable rear passenger seats for more leg room.

410 litres luggage space with the rear seats up.

The flexibility of the rear seats allows the luggage capacity to be increased if the additional leg room is not required.

From just £16,555 on-the-road

We LOVED the Vauxhall Crossland X and highly recommend it as a mid size family car with all the looks and gadgets you could ever need! Full details of the options available for this car can be found on the Vauxhall website.

We were given the use of this car for one week in exchange for our honest review.

  5. Oh, my husband would love the Crossland. He’s a Vauxhall man at heart. We both owned Mk3 Astra’s when we met and have had several Vx’s since then including a Vectra, Vectra Estate, 2 Zafira’s and a Meriva.

  8. I think a lot of normal cars are a bit tough to have three people in the back but it sounds like a nice in between car x

  11. We Love Vauxhalls in our house. I had a very old Tigra up until recently, but it finally gave up after being my old faithful for so long. I decided to go for a Corsa and love it. The family car at the moment is a Vectra and it’s just as great. This looks fantastic, perhaps when we upgrade if another baby comes along!

  12. I couldn’t have a car without satnav now! I have been totally spoilt. Love the boot space and its really attractive looking. We both drive an Audi so I would be interested to see how this compared, as I have driven an Audi now for over ten years and would need some convincing.
