Pickle says….We went to France a little while ago and were SO lucky to have been given a gorgeous Volkswagen Touran R-Line to take us. Mummy has never driven a VW before, and was really excited to see what the Touran would be like, as it is a real option for us as a family car, having 7 seats.
For our Vokswagen Touran review, we were given a VW Touran R Line which is a top of the range model, It was STUNNING to look at with a styling pack as an extra, it was white and a real head turner.
We used the VW Touran with 5 seats – there are another two which fold away in the boot space. When folded away, they gave us a huge boot, which we so need. I still have a pushchair for the odd occasion when I get really tired legs, and as we were going to Disneyland Paris I definitely needed one. We also had to pack clothes for every weather possibility and food and drink for our long journey from West Wales to Normandy.
The VW Touran R-Line is so spacious. We had loads of room, which is great as there were Mummy, teen bro and sis and me travelling. Each seat was comfy and there was lots of leg room.
The features we loved about the VW Touran are:
The body styling (R-Line Styling Pack).
The automatic lights – they even adjusted themselves for driving in France! (Dynamic Light Assist) (LED Premium Headlights).
The spacious boot – but the option of two extra seats if needed. The seats fold into the floor so are easy to put up if needed.
The rear parking camera and all round parking sensors. (Park Assist and Rear View Camera).
The economy was brilliant. (This was diesel).
The drivers seat was ultra comfy – Mummy honestly did not feel like she had driven such a long way.
The electronically closing boot was very handy! It opened with a button in the front of a car, or via the key fob. It closed via a button on the tailgate, or the key fob.
You can see more in our video:
Pickle loved it because:
He liked the colour!
He liked the storage in the roof.
Teens loved it because:
It had excellent connectivity for their phones to play music.
The stereo and speakers were awesome.
It was super comfy.
This particular Touran was the R-Line TDi 190 PS 6spd DSG and retailed at £38,290.00
There are different models available with different optional extras, you can explore all the information on the VW Website.
We highly recommend this vehicle and hope you enjoyed reading our Volkswagen Touran review – thank you to VW for the use of this awesome car for our holiday.

We had a VW and it was by far our favourite car, we were sad when we had to let it go. The Touran really appeals to us, and hopefully we will have a VW again one day

We have a VW Touran, although a much older model than this, and absolutely love it! It’s great for families such as ours with three children. We just drove to France in ours too! x

VWs are great! My dad had one when we were growing up. This new model looks like a great one to take out on road trips. It looks fab in white too.

I like how it is still a nice, stylish family car! It’s a good idea having two extra seats that can fold down flat if needed.
