We have changed how we record our days – we have kept a daily diary in the form of Project 365 and then Photo a Day for over two and a half years up till last October, and switched to more weekly round ups from November. It is lovely to look back on, but a lot of work to keep up with. So welcome to another Weekly Catch Up for 2017.
It has been a pretty miserable week weather wise, with the only real sunshine appearing on Thursday.
It was back to school and college for us on Monday – I wasn’t very happy about it at all. I still wasn’t well on Sunday – I had a temperature and was very clingy and worn out. But I woke up bright as a button on Monday so I went. My closest friends came down with chicken pox this week, so that hasn’t helped either. I have missed them a lot. Mummy’s car had to come off the road as it needs a MOT and will not pass. It has reached the end of its life so we are hiring one until we can sort out another one for us.
Wednesday was St Davids Day – I dressed in a welsh T Shirt and dragon jacket. It is a lovely celebration, I drew a fab dragon for Mummy. Mummy co-hosted a Twitter party for PJ Masks, and we had our own party at home too.
On Friday morning, I was sounding out the words in my latest reading book with Mummy, and I then read a whole sentence to her. She was SO proud of me. It was – ‘a big cat in a big hat!’ Aren’t I a clever boy?
MeeMee was with us all week and went back to Bristol on Saturday. I miss her so much. We went to Carmarthen for a look round – Mummy got me some Star Monsters – they are little plastic collectible characters, I love them. Mummy had to try some coffee in a few coffee shops for a Fair Trade coffee campaign. Mummy just loves her coffee so had a whale of a time!
How has your week been?
