Weekly Catch Up 19 – 26 March 2017

We have changed how we record our days – we have kept a daily diary in the form of Project 365 and then Photo a Day for over two and a half years up till last October, and switched to more weekly round ups from November. It is lovely to look back on, but a lot of work to keep up with. So welcome to another Weekly Catch Up for 2017.

The weather this week started grey, cloudy, cold and wet again. The mornings were quite bright but it soon changed. But, hurrah Friday, Saturday and Sunday were beautiful days! Bright, sunny and warm. Spring has finally arrived!

This week has been ok at school, Mummy has been working hard from home with our blog. Lea was in college every day this week -usually it is three days. She finished early every day except Monday though, so Mummy went to pick her up.

Mummy went to the doctors on Monday and is taking tablets for her under active Thyroid. She also met with the village PCSO to talk about what happened to MeeMee’s friend in the local nightclub (her drink was spiked). Mummy felt better for talking to him.

Wednesday was my first parents evening at school and Miss P is SO pleased with me. Mummy is SO proud of me! Mummy says:

‘Pickle’s teacher showed me his work last night at his first parents evening ❤️He is writing, reading, counting in tens, measuring and using finger spaces in his sentences😀He goes into a grown up room with reception class (children two years older than him) to have the opportunity and peace to work as he loves it! He is ‘beautifully behaved’ and a big help in class. He is very advanced and so bright.’

Friday was Red Nose Day and I went to school in my pyjamas and dressing gown!

On Saturday we headed up to Bristol for the weekend so that Mummy could spend time with us all, including biggest sis MeeMee for Mother’s Day. We went to see Beauty and the Beast. Wow! It is such a brilliant film. We all loved it. We then went to The Snuff Mill – a gorgeous Harvester Restaurant in Frenchay for dinner. We had a delicious meal. We stayed at a Travelodge in Portis Head and dropped MeeMee back to her house.

On Sunday we picked MeeMee up and went for breakfast at the Cafe Retreat in Clifton. It is so lovely there. The sun was shining again, and it was quite warm. We left Bristol and MeeMee at midday and headed home.

How has your week been?
