Another monthly round up – where did June go? We were in France for the first few days, so pick up this months post from when we travelled home.
Sunday 5 June – We left Newbury for our drive home which went well. Lots of sunshine – it reached 24 degrees! We had to pick up our school uniforms from Nana’s, when they told us the bad news about Mummy’s car. It is poorly and cannot be fixed.
Monday 6 June – Mummy was so upset today. The Peugeot was picked up, Lea had 9am History GCSE and we had to pick up our poorly car. It was Nana and Grandad to the rescue again. It was a lovely, warm sunny day and I went to school OK. Met Daddy after school to get my new trainers for Sports Day tomorrow. Had tea in McDonalds then it absolutely poured down with rain.
Tuesday 7 June – My first School Sports Day. I wore my new trainers. It was in the morning, which I couldn’t understand – I go to school in the afternoons. I loved the sports, and Mummy was so proud of me, as I was happy and did all the races like a big boy. Picked up Lea after her English GCSE then met Daddy for coffee to tell him about my sports.
Wednesday 8 June – We met Granny Jane for breakfast, Lea came too which was nice. Boiling hot day, and we went to Stackpole for an ice cream after school. I played with my new Num Noms in the garden.
Thursday 9 June – I put my school Polo shirt on by myself for the first time! And did the button up. It was a bit cooler to start with then lovely and warm. I love looking out over Tenby harbour.
Friday 10 June – I put my school shoes on myself for the first time. I am getting very clever. No photo today.
Saturday 11 June – Home in the morning. Nice day – warm and sunny. We met Daddy for lunch in Saundersfoot in the afternoon.
Sunday 12 June – Cloudy, windy and looked like rain, but we went to Stackpole in the afternoon and it was so warm and beautiful. We all had a lovely few hours. I tried to copy big bro doing parkour and handstands! The weather is so weird at the moment.
13 June – Monday – Lea had her last English GCSE first thing, and Mummy had to get tyres for her car. Cooler today, heavy rain in the afternoon. School – I was ok. We did some crafting too.
Tuesday 14 June – Woke to grey cloud and rain. Mummy worked from home so I was at Nana’s. It cleared up a little – Luke and I had new water pistols and had a great water pistol fight! MeeMee came home on the Megabus yay!
15 June – Mummy and I went to my friends house before school. Nice warm day. We all went to Saundersfoot after school – I had ‘Proper Woods Wednesday’ as I call it. Not that we go to the woods – we have only been twice since I started school! It means we don’t wear uniform and we play outside, but it is called ‘Woods Wednesday.’
Thursday 16 June – Grey, cooler day. Busy day at the orthodontist with Luke for his assessment – he still has baby teeth to lose (he is 14 next month!) So his brace should go on next April. We all had dentist appointments and the dentist said my teeth are all clean and sparkly! Wales played England in Euro16 and lost 🙁 No photo today.
17 June – Lea had Double Physics GCSE today – her last one (apart from a second Maths one in two weeks). We went to garden centre for breakfast with MeeMee and we picked Nana up. Damp grey start but it got brighter and warmer. We then picked Lea up after her exam. Luke and I had more water pistol fights after school!
Saturday 18 June – a lovely warm, sunny day, we had a family tea at Aunty J’s for Father’s Day and Mummy’s birthday. Mummy, MeeMee and Lea went into Tenby for a walk and Luke and I stayed at AJ’s.
19 June – Father’s Day. Daddy popped down to see us and we gave him cards, wine and a mug. He had to go to work. We went to meet Nana and Grandad and had lunch in the nice fish & ship shop in Saundersfoot- then had ice cream and coffee. Wet miserable day. Rained all day. No photo today.
20 June – Mummy’s birthday. Lovely breakfast at the garden centre with Lea, MeeMee, Nana and Grandad. I went to school, and afterwards we went into Tenby, It was hot and sunny and we had chips sat on The Esplanade over looking the sea. We met Daddy and had coffee, ice cream and the others shared an amazing waffle desert in a coffee shop we hadn’t been in before.
21 June – Tuesday – I stayed home with Lea and MeeMee and Mummy worked a bit from home. L came to stay on the MegaBus at night- yay again! I was asleep though. No photo today.
22 June – Left MeeMee and L at home and went into Tenby with Lea. Dropped her at her friends house. Rainy start and cooler then became very warm and sunny. We were supposed to go to my friends but I had two massive tantrums so we didn’t. Went to school OK though. We picked up Luke, MeeMee and L and went to my first School fete. After, we took L to South Beach Bar for coffee and cake.
23 June – Woke to warm, bright sunshine. A beautiful day. Had breakfast out with Lea and Mummy, did some food shopping for us for the weekend. We met MeeMee and L in Saundersfoot and had baguettes and coffee sat outside the cafe on the corner – it was boiling. School OK.
24 June – Woke to rain. Boo! Mummy went off to London for BritMums Blog Conference. MeeMee and L helped Lea and Luke with me. We had so much fun.
25 June – Mummy was at BritMums with Zena having a wonderful time. We all stayed at home, Lea had two friends staying to help her and Luke look after me.
Sunday 26 June – wet and grey here. Mummy said it was quite nice in London, but rained as she travelled home. We were so excited to see her!
Monday 27 June – Lea had maths statistics GCSE and it was her last day EVER at school. We met Granny Jane first thing, then picked Lea up and came home. I had school, Lea had a sleepover to celebrate at her friends. I got dressed all by myself into my school uniform for the first time.
Tuesday 28 June – It started grey then got worse! Torrential rain. Mummy wore a dress and was cold. We went to my friends, J’s. Lea was at her friends and we picked her up after school. We then had a movie snuggle!
Wednesday 29 June – We woke to rain. Mummy left Lea and me at home whilst she took Luke to school, then popped home to pick us up and we went to McDonalds for a cheeky coffee and bagel. I had my copy of the fab, brand new Go Jetters magazine and loved it.
Thursday 30 June – a dull grey day with heavy showers, but warm and clammy then cold. We had coffee in Manorbier then lunch in our favourite cafe in the village to celebrate Lea finishing school properly.
Phew – a whole month! Hope you enjoyed our photos of what we get up to. Which is your favourite?
