Our Lighthouse Raincoats saved us!

You will remember we went to France last month, and suffered the wettest weather France has had in years! We didn’t know that it rained anywhere else more then here in Wales, but boy, it rained. And rained. And rained.

Our Lighthouse Raincoats saved us!

Paris saw immense flooding – they even had to close The Louvre Museum, and several people were hit by lightening. We had wall to wall rain, and an incredible storm one night, but thankfully we were all ok – just a little soggy! We had two days of solid rain in Disney Land Paris.

My raincoat has even met Spider Man!

Mummy and I were SO glad that we took our gorgeous new Lighthouse raincoats with us. We were sent them just before we went, and thank goodness we were!

Mummy’s raincoat is the Isla short waterproof coat in French Navy.

Mine is the Skipper Nautical coat in Pea Green Stripe.

Mummy’s coat top features are:

High waterproofness (5000mm) and high breathability (5000gsm).

Nautical style drawcords and antique brass tone toggles and buttons.

Fully taped seams.

Concealed hood – which is a great size and fit.

Mid hip length.

Machine washable.

It is £74.95 available in sizes 10 – 18. It is a good fit, Mummy ordered her usual clothes size and it fits perfectly, with room for a jumper underneath too. The length is great – it covers her bottom but isn’t too long. The sleeves are nice and long too.

Mummy LOVES it. It is super smart, the colour she chose goes with everything, and best of all it is totally, utterly, completely waterproof. Mummy literally had rain dripping off her nose, and filling her shoes, but her raincoat did not leak once. Over two full days outdoors at Disney Land Paris, queuing, walking around, it did not leak.

My raincoat’s top features are:

Soft touch fabric and jersey lining.

Highly waterproof (2000mm) and breathable (2000gsm).

Integral jersey lined hood.

Two pockets.

Elasticated wrists.

Machine washable.

It is £24.95, available in ages 1 up to 8 years.

It kept me super dry in the torrential rain, I insisted on walking mostly instead of being nice and covered in my pushchair! Mummy was so glad I had my new raincoat!

We absolutely love our Lighthouse raincoats, and highly recommend them for keeping you super dry in serious rain. What do you think of them?

Pop over to the  Lighthouse website to have a look at their complete range of gorgeous coats, jackets, tops, puddlesuits and more for men, women and children.

  6. So frickin cute with all the photos. Shame you had bad weather but good on you to have raincoat to keep you la little bit dry. When I went to Disney World for my honeymoon a few years ago we was queuing for a ride and right in the middle the heaven open – we was soaked and we had to go on a big fast rollarcoster like a drowned rat, I will never forget it. xx

  10. Aww, that’s such a shame about the rain 🙁 I heard about France being hit with a lot of rain/storms on the news. Still, it looks like a great time was had! And what smart rain jackets, I love the green stripes, very snazzy 🙂 xx

  11. They look brilliant; so smart! Great to know that they’re true to size, too.
