In the Jungle Crafts

Regular readers will know that we are a #BostikBlogger and every month we receive a box of craft goodies, and a theme. This months theme is The Jungle. Mummy decided to ask me what I wanted to do with the crafts and I chose to make some of my favourite animals – zebras.

I love zebras, I have loved them since I was very small, and I was very pleased that Mummy said I could make some. I had some zebra pattern paper in my craft box, and Mummy asked me to draw a zebra on the back.

Mummy cut out my zebra shape, and I glued little googly eyes on to the face.

Mummy then cut out little triangle shapes out of a black foam sheet for his ears and mouth, which we stuck on with Glue Dots, which are super fab.

I wanted to make another one to keep him company.

Do you like them? ( I am not sure why they only have three legs!)

The other thing I wanted to make was a pretty bird – and Mummy asked me if I wanted to make something for Lea (big sis) as a present. We decided to make a make up brush holder (or a pen holder). Lea loves exotic creatures so I wanted to make a very beautiful bird for her.

We took the cardboard tube, which had a card bottom too.

I chose a bright yellow foam sheet and Mummy glued it onto the tube.

I chose her eyes and a round jewel for her nose, with a heart jewel for her beak.

We used Bostik Glue dots to stick them on – they are really easy to use, not messy, and strong too.

I wanted to wrap some yellow sparkly net around my bird, and glued it into place.

I was very pleased with my Bird Brush Holder – what do you think?

We were gifted a box of crafts via Bostik & Tots100 but received no payment for this post.

  14. Those zebras are so cute! I love how easy it seemed to create those – I often get frustrated for my daughter with some craft kits, where I have to do a lot of it for her (although admittedly less and less these days).
