Exploring Mini Beasts #BostikBlogger

This months box of craft goodies we received as a #BostikBlogger was all about mini beasts. In my class at nursery school I am in the caterpillar class, so I was very excited to have the chance to learn a bit more and spend time exploring mini beasts.

Our craft session this month is a little late, and we didn’t make as much as we would have liked to, as our little cat was in a car accident on Thursday, and Mummy had to take her to the vets, then look after her when she came home on Friday. Despite us looking after her, she died on Saturday night. So we are very sad.

We used the craft goodies to spend an hour together, talking about and exploring mini beasts. It was nice to be all together, and Mummy let me make what ever I wanted to. I decorated a little photo frame with flowers and beads, I think I will put a little photo of Chico (our cat) in it.

I also wanted to make a beautiful picture with bugs in – each bug I added – a ladybird, a butterfly, a bumble bee, gave us chance to talk about them. Mummy told me all about where they live, and I told Mummy their colours. Lea made some furry pipe cleaner caterpillars, and I put them into another picture with leaves in.

Luke made a spider for the picture – but it only had four legs! Silly Luke!

I wanted to draw some bugs too – do you like my spider – I know, I know – he he has MORE than eight legs! I like him though. I had great fun exploring minibeasts, I hope you liked my pictures. What is your favourite minibeast?

We were sent a box of craft supplies as a #BostikBlogger with Tots100.
