Wow Toys Birthday Countdown Calendar

I have been a very lucky boy, as I was sent a lovely Wow Toys Birthday Countdown Calendar for me to open every day for nine days leading up to my birthday. I LOVED it – having a special new little toy every day for ten days.

We love WOW Toys, they are so bright and colourful, with chunky little people perfect for my little hands. The toys need no batteries and are so strong, letting me play and play with them without any worry of them breaking.

As well as ten little toys, there is a secret slide for my people to slide down, and I can write my name on a little door too. (With Mummy’s help!)

I loved opening my Wow Countdown Calendar every day, I asked for it as soon as I woke up, it made my Birthday countdown more exciting. There were three people, a little table that spins around, a cake, present and a jelly for the party and an ice-cream cart. There was also a little bunny rabbit. They all go together to make a fab play set, which I have played with most days.

The Countdown Calendar sells at £14.99 which means each little toy is just £1.50! I had so much fun, and highly recommend the Birthday Countdown Calendar.

We are a Wow Toys Blogger Buddy and say a big thank you to them for our Birthday Countdown Calendar!

  1. I think this is such a good idea and so overdue I think too. Wow Toys are brilliant too.

  2. I love advent calendars, but really think that this is a step to far. I think that children nowadays are overindulged and this is just another way to do that. This is not something I would ever consider purchasing and I hope that they do not take off!

  3. Awwh this looks amazing! My little boy loves wow toys… think I may have to invest in this for his 3rd birthday in February. Great post!

  4. Oh wow what a fun idea and great way to build up to your birthday! x

  9. Advent Calendars I love, but this is just too much as far as I’m concerned. I totally agree with Jen, kids don’t need to be given something extra for 9 days BEFORE their birthday.

  10. Such a great idea and what a great advent calender it would make, something aimed at my child that isn’t sweets! x

  11. This looks lovely but I am getting a bit worried about this new “countdown” trend. How soon will it be before it is expected to countdown to all special events? Will the kids start expecting countdown calendars for Halloween? Easter? Guy Fawkes? Have you seen the new Christmas calendars? One was £1000! (Special whiskys).

  12. This is such a cute idea. I’m tempted to take a look at their advent calendars.

  14. I’m on the fence about this – I like the idea as I know how excited my two get about their Birthdays but I think a countdown with gifts is a bit much.

  24. I’m also on the fence about this one-I love the product, having this as an advent calender is great but a birthday countdown-I dunno. Mind you my birthday is December so I HAVE a birthday countdown every year, my actual advent calender!

  25. This is a great idea, but it does seem maybe a little excessive? Is it something that could be put away and re-used each year?
