Do you sleep well? I sleep well most nights – well, I do go to bed in my own big boys bed in my bedroom which I share with my big bro. I am quite good at going off to sleep – unless I have had a late afternoon nap, then I am up a bit later. Usually I go to bed at 7pm, Mummy and Lea read me a story, I have a drink of milk, and off I nod.
I do wake up in the night, between 2 – 5am and go sleepily into Mummy, where she pops me into her bed, and we both go back to sleep. The best thing about this is that in the morning when we wake up for the day, we have lots of snuggly cuddles and kisses. I LOVE feeling Mummy lying next to me, and she says she loves having me there, all suggly, too.
The worst thing, is her mattress. Now, Mummy’s bed is nice and big and has a double mattress but it is years old and is so uncomfortable. It is a memory foam mattress, but the base of Mummy’s bed is made of metal supports, and the mattress on Mummy’s side has kind of sunk into them and there is a big dip. Mummy ends up in this dip, and when I join her, I too roll into it, squashed against Mummy! So Mummy doesn’t really get a great nights sleep. I do, because I can sleep anywhere when I am tired!
Mummy is on the look out for a new mattress, and I hope she finds one soon. It is interesting to see how other people sleep isn’t it?
What do you make of these fab facts about how the people of Britain sleep?
Aren’t there some interesting statistics there? I wonder if any apply to you. I hope you sleep well tonight!
