Travelodge Leigh Delamere Services
We had our first family trip to London a little while ago, and were lucky enough to have four nights away. The first night was one that Mummy hadn’t really planned until the last minute.
We wanted to be in London by 11am on the Wednesday morning, which would have meant us leaving home at 6am – and getting up at 5am. Mummy had seen before that the Travelodge at Leigh Delamere Services is usually available and quite cheap.
She decided to book it, and then we could drive there without any pressure on the Tuesday afternoon. There are two Travelodges here – Eastbound and Westbound on the M4.
These Travelodges are perfect for a stopover if you are travelling along the M4 or heading to the south of England. We stayed in the Eastbound one. It has everything we expect from Travelodge, comfy beds, hot shower and the room was clean with towels supplied.
There is some traffic noise, which we expected, but nothing that really affected us.
The services as several eating options, including Eat & Drink Co, Burger King, Costa Coffee, West Cornwall Pasty Company and Domino’s Pizza.
This Travelodge has:
*Refurbished rooms with Dreamer Beds.
Nearby attractions include:
Roman Baths 25 miles
Longleat Safari Park 28 miles
Great Western Designer Retail Outlet Village 25 miles
The Cotswolds and Salisbury Plain are nearby too.
There is usually availability at short notice (obviously you must check the website, and book as soon as you can) and if you book ahead you can get a family room for £30.
Please Note – this particular stay was not a review, but we wanted to share our experience with you anyway 🙂
