Mummy says ….
You may be aware that I have an incredible four – yes four – Britmums Live Sponsors and I am thrilled and honoured to be working with each one of them.
The Fabulous Four are:
You can read more about these great companies on these posts Maverick Books, Skibz Bibs, Stamptastic Ltd, Wow Toys
They have made it possible for me to go to Britmums Live 2015 – my first one!
I am very excited, and a bit nervous too.
I have been reading up on what to expect, and what I should take with me, and do to prepare.
1. I have followed everyone on the Twitter lists for Britmums Live.
2. I have my train tickets booked.
3. I have my selfie stick at the ready 😉
4. I have my power bank to recharge my phone and iPad.
5. I have my business cards and my lovely blog badge to wear.
I always leave everything to the last minute – I have been quietly confident about Britmums Live, just thinking that it is another blog conference – just a bigger one.
WRONG! It is HUGE! I have planned, a little, this is how it is looking so far….
My train is at 7.20am – quite a civilised time for me! The station is about twenty minutes away, by car. There is free parking there.
I change at Cardiff, where, hopefully I will meet up with a couple of other bloggers to travel to Paddington.
We arrive at just after midday. I plan to go straight to the hotel, where my bestest blog buddy Zena from Zena’s Suitcase will have checked in early, so I can leave my bags in her room!
We will then make our way to Britmums Live for registration at 2pm.
The afternoon will be spent listening to some amazing speakers, meeting other bloggers and connecting with brands.
The evening sees the BiBs party and awards, and I am going to the fantastic Nandos for dinner with a group of bloggers – my first visit!
Saturday is my birthday 🙂
There will be more mingling, learning, meeting and networking. I haven’t chosen the sessions that I would like to attend yet, there are a lot to choose from!
I will be heading home on Saturday evening – catching a train with a couple of other bloggers, at around 6pm. I will get home at around 11pm!
A long couple of days, but well worth it I am sure. Look out for all my tweets, photos and posts about it!
Oh and Pickle will be having a brilliant time at home with his biggest sis, MeeMee who is home from Uni, as well as, of course, Lea and Luke.

FOUR sponsors?!? That’s just greedy … 🙂
Wow, you really do have a long trip! It makes me appreciate the fact that mine is only about 90 minutes. Hopefully will get the chance to say hi.
Right, now I need to stop being such a last-minute merchant and actually think about preparing myself for tomorrow. Now where’s that case …
