This summer has been very busy in our house. After we came back from our holiday, Mummy decided to move the bedrooms around. MeeMee was getting ready to go to University, and Lea and Luke swapped bedrooms, so that I can move into the bigger bedroom with Luke. I have been in my cot in Mummy’s room up until now, and the other bedrooms had to be swapped around for there to be enough room for Luke and I to share the big one. Lea wanted the little room for herself, somewhere to study on her own in peace, as she has started her GCSE work in school.
There was a lot of work to be done and my Nana and Grandad worked really hard helping us to get rid of old furniture, put together new furniture, clean through, and repaint our rooms. Lea’s new room is purple and white, and mine and Luke’s room is red and blue. We love it, it is a proper boys room, with space for Luke’s TV and gaming stuff my toys and teddy bears. Lea loves her gorgeous new girlie room, with a desk, new drawers and a new bed.
It took a long time to paint the rooms, and swap all our clothes and things into the new rooms. It was a good time to have a clear out, and we did some car boot sales in the summer too!
We all loved looking for new furniture, curtains and bedding, as well as finding new homes for all our pictures and photographs, toys and keepsakes.
There were lots of great websites that Mummy loved, lots of ideas on blogs like this one, and websites with lots of lovely things, including this cotton quilt for a kids bedroom We love anything with stars on!
I haven’t moved into my new bedroom yet, we are waiting until I am a little bit bigger, as Mummy is a bit afraid that I will fall out of my new toddler bed!
