New Bob the Builder Magazine

I love Bob the Builder and watch him almost every time I go to playgroup. I was so excited to be asked if I would like to have a look at the new Bob the Builder magazine to see what I think.

This is the all new Bob the Builder and yes, he looks a bit different but I love him! The magazine from Egmont UK costs £3.99 and the one I was sent came with a toy hammer and an activity book as well as the magazine itself.

I LOVE the hammer, and have been ‘helping’ Mummy with all sorts of jobs around the house! I even took it to bed with me 🙂

The activity book is great, with lots of activities including pictures to colour in, counting, spot the difference, puzzles and more.

The main magazine has with it a fab Bob The Builder poster, and on the other side is a play mat with roads so I can play with it with my cars. The magazine has a note on the first page for my Mummy to read, explaining how it can help me with practising my key skills, and get me ready for school – perfect as I start nursery school in January! The magazine will also help me recognise letters, shapes and numbers and help me build my creativity and imagination as I work on my own projects.

Special signs show pages where, if Mummy helps me, I will learn and enjoy it more, and another sign telling me it is a sticker page, and I can add stickers from the sheet.

You can see our vlog here:

Inside the magazine there is so much to do! There are lots of activities for me, such as ticking which one of Bob’s machines looks sad, having a go at tracing letters, colouring, guessing which machines can help with which job, matching pairs, as well as stories and a reward chart! Wow! That will keep me busy for a while!

I love this magazine and hope Mummy buys me the next one!

Mummy says….

‘I was really impressed with this magazine. Not just with the toy which is of good quality and appealed to Pickle SO much, but because the content and the activities are suitable for him – he is 3. I usually avoid magazines like this because I feel he is too young, but this one really is great. I would definitely recommend this and buy it for Pickle.’

We were sent this magazine, and compensated for our time for this review. All photos and words are ours 🙂

  9. I love the kiddie magazines that come with toys on them. My Toddler isn’t into Bob the Builder but she loves In The Night Garden which I think may be from the same people. I’m even considering a subscription.

  12. I think they have a hit on their hands when it appeals to both the parents and the children.
I like magazines that help children with their learning without them realising they are learning as they are having fun.
