Sealife Centre Great Yarmouth has a new Visitor Experience
I visited the Sealife Centre in Manchester earlier this year, and LOVED it! I would absolutely love to visit Sealife Centre Great Yarmouth, it sounds amazing.
They have transformed the 250,000 litre ocean display into a newly themed interactive ocean display with the East Coast’s largest range of sharks along with some stunning tropical reefs.
I would love to explore and learn more about the creatures that live in the rocky reef and forgotten sunken city. Creatures include Noah, the resident Green Sea Turtle, the amazing Bowmouth and Guitar sharks, moray eels and all the beautiful brightly coloured tropical fish.
But there is more than just fish …
A tiny fluffy penguin chick hatched out at SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth at Easter time!
Proud mum Mumbles and dad Woody took turns to look after their little chick in the nest they made in a little hollow in the sandy floor of their enclosure, not wanting to use the specially provided nest-boxes.
This same pair of Humboldt penguins had their first chick ‘Pitcher’ three years ago, meaning they are now experienced and will be even better parents with this new chick!
The baby is the second generation of penguin chicks of Sea Life, as Mumbles and Woody were hatched in the centres in Scarborough and Weymouth respectively seven years ago.
If you would like to visit the Sharks and Penguins, why not enter this fabulous competition to win a 7 night holiday to Greater Yarmouth in 2016, including attraction passes to various places, including the Sealife Centre
