Mummy says….Whilst on a recent mini break to London, I was lucky enough to be invited to The Mango Tree Thai restaurant in Belgravia, London by my wonderful friend Zena. I must admit that I was a tiny bit apprehensive as I had never eaten Thai food before, but I needn’t have worried – and I would recommend it anyone!

The Mango Tree Thai Restaurant, Belgravia

The Mango Tree, is situated in the heart of Belgravia, near Buckingham Palace. Like the first branch which opened in Bangkok, the restaurant offers exquisite Thai cuisine in a modern, feng shui designed, stylish venue. We caught an Uber from our apartment in Fulham, and The Mango Tree looked amazing as we pulled up. It was a 7pm on a Friday night and already very busy.

I chose:

We had a bottle of rose between us and ordered our food with our friendly server. The food arrived quickly and was hot and delicious. The starter and main course were hot, great sized portions and super delicious.

Desert was on another level! The server poured the salted caramel sauce (which was hot) onto the chocolate sphere and it melted revealing more chocolate and fruit. It was a real wow desert!

We finished with a cocktail each and a coffee.

It was a real treat, sumptuous food in a stunning restaurant. The service was great and I would highly recommend The Mango Tree. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can!

The Mango Tree website has detailed info on all the menus available, as well as video of the restaurant and food. You can book your meal online there too, or call on +44 (0) 20 7823 1888 or email them at info@mangotree.org.uk

Thank you to The Mango Tree for inviting us as your guests for the meal and drinks. We received the food and drink in exchange for my (and Zena’s) honest review.
