Pickle says…One of the favourite things I love about Mummy’s job are the lovely things we get to try. One of which is cars. We were lucky enough to have a Hyundai Sante Fe for half term a few weeks ago, and here is what we thought of it….

Road Trip with Hyundai Santa Fe

We took the Hyundai Santa Fe from home in Pembrokeshire all the way to Kent for a weekend away, all the way home, then to Bristol for a few days and back. So we spent quite a bit of time in this car!

What we loved:

Electric roof blind, panoramic glass roof and electric opening sunroof.

Heated AND cooled front seats!

Automatic drivers seat which moved when Mummy got in and out of the car.

Lights on the wing mirrors and a beeping alarm to show Mummy when cars were approaching and overtaking  – brilliant for motorway driving.

Indicators on the mirrors.

Excellent sat nav.

Easy to use cruise control.

Automatic boot opening with a button inside the car, or on the key fob.

The boot was HUGE! We had three suitcases, our massive Yippie Yo cross buggy and lots of bags, coats, boots etc and there was still room to spare.

Mummy said it was stunning to drive.

What we didn’t like:

The back seat is a tad too small for two tall teens and me in my car seat.

Fuel economy wasn’t as good as Mummy thought it would be. (Average 32mpg even on a long run).

That we had to give it back to Hyundai!!

  1. Ooh you lucky things! This looks like a fab car. Boot space is really important for us, I’d be concerned about the lack of room in the back though too.

  4. I never get the chance to ride yet the Santa Fe car. I like that it is not so small and not so huge at the same time. Indeed perfect for some road trip activity. Looking forward to try this too.
