Pickle says… I LOVE staying in hotels, especially ones like Premier Inn. I have stayed in lots now, all over the UK. One that I have stayed in since I was a baby is The Coach House, at The Trafford Centre, Manchester. Why does my family love this one so much?

My Mummy was born in Wythenshawe, just down the road, and a lot of our family still live in this area. My Mummy’s Uncle’s, Auntie’s, cousins and my Great Nana who is now 97!

The Coach House Premier Inn is in a fantastic location for us, right in the grounds of The Trafford Centre, one of the largest shopping centres in the UK.

We can walk from the hotel around the corner to The Trafford Centre, which makes the teens VERY happy!

The bedrooms in this Premier Inn are lovely, spread over two floors. The beds are super comfy, and the rooms are clean and perfect as a base for us to go shopping and visit family.

The Coach House Premier Inn has a Brewers Fayre right next door which is where we had our breakfast. We also have at least one evening meal here as they have some brilliant meal deals on.

Breakfast was excellent and brilliant value for money. At only £8.99 for an adult with two children eating FREE it can’t be beaten. They serve Costa coffee too which makes for a very happy Mummy. There was a good choice of pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurt and hot stuff including bacon, sausages, eggs, baked beans, hash browns and mushrooms. There are veggie sausages too.

We love that within a two minute walk there are loads of other places to eat including Frankie and Benny’s, Nando’s, McDonalds – something for everyone.

What is great about this Premier Inn is that we have found in peak holiday times the prices are still really low, because, we guess, people are heading to holiday destinations such as the seaside.

There are a couple of other Premier Inns in The Trafford Centre area but we just love this one. We stay at least once a year, and this year we have stayed twice. We were invited as guests of Premier Inn for one of the nights, although we stayed and paid for a further five nights this year.

With Christmas around the corner, if you fancy a fantastic shopping destination with a night or two away, then this is it.

For the locations, latest deals and prices pop over to the Premier Inn website.

Have you stayed at a Premier Inn? If so, which one would you recommend to us?

  1. Always on the lookout for Manchester hotels – their Christmas markets just seem to get better each year

  2. I have stayed in a few Premier Inn’s before but I can’t remember which ones. It’s the sort of place where you know what to expect x

  3. I’ve never stayed in a premier inn, it looks very cosy, wow what a great age to reach, I bet you love visiting her xXx

  4. I haven’t really stayed in many Premier Inn hotels but my sister does as they are excellent with disabled facilities. I am pleased to see that there were veggie sausages for breakfast – you don’t always get that luxury. Living in Manchester, we tend to walk to the Trafford Centre, so are unlikely to stay there. But it is always fun to have a nosy in hotels.

  5. It’s great to know that you were impressed. We’ve often thought about staying there and may well do so now.

  6. We still haven’t stayed in a Premier Inn and I really want to try one – I love the idea of those Hypnos beds. I like the fact that you know exactly what you are getting when you book. You can’t say that with lots of hotels.

  7. We love staying in Premier Inns – you always know what you’re going to get. The beds are really comfy too!

  8. I love staying in hotels and glad you had a great time
