Pickle says… I love BRIO and have quite a lot of it. My big bro was given a big box full when he was a very little boy by a neighbour. I guess it is vintage as it must be around 50 years old. (It was her sons). I was very excited to be sent the BRIO Village School Playset recently to add to my collection.
The BRIO Village School Playset is for children aged 3-7, RRP £29.99
It has 22 pieces including a teacher and a little boy. The school has a slide and a ladder and comes with a bench and ABC and 123 blocks. It is very easy to put it together in a few minutes.
It is a set that I can play with on it’s own, or I can add it to a bigger Brio set.
I don’t think anyone needs me to explain the quality of Brio toys – the vintage pieces and track I have are still as good as new. There are a few brands which have been around for a LONG time and still make cracking toys which are popular and up to date, and Brio is definitely one of them.
In my world where I live with much older siblings, I do love technology and Mummy’s tablet, fun apps, and exploring the digital world – in school as well as at home, but I also just love simple toys such as Brio.
It helps my co-ordination, fires my imagination and I get lost in a wonderful world in my head.
Mummy loves that Brio is such good quality and she doesn’t have to worry about it breaking or falling apart.
I am starting to make my 5th Birthday Wish List (and of course my Christmas one too!) and Brio will definitely be on it!
