Welcome to another Weekly Catch Up. We love sharing our week with you, and pick the best photos to show you too. It is so lovely to look back on what we have been up to. We are sharing the whole month of June with you. Where is the time going?
We travelled back from France on 3 June. You can read about our week in Normandy, France here.
5 – 18 June
Monday – Awful weather. Work, back to school and the start of more GCSE’s for Luke. Boo!
Tuesday – I came home quite poorly.I was hot, worn out, and had a high temperature at night.
On Wednesday Mummy took me to the doctors. I had a virus and was very poorly at night.
I was even worse on Thursday.
On Friday we went back to the doctors. I had Scarlet Fever! What a shock!
Saturday June 10 was terrible weather. We only went out to new farm coffee shop.
On Monday I was much better and well enough to go to school! Once I was put on the antibiotics I picked up straight away.
On Tuesday – I missed sports day as I had awful cough. I did go to school in the afternoon. I am still loving reading and having new books in school. We usually read in the car waiting for the school gate to open!
Thursday was really hot. We went to Stackpole after school.
Sunday 18 June Father’s Day. A scorching hot day. We had lunch at my Aunty and Uncles with Nana and Grandad. We then saw Daddy in Tenby and had ice cream.
19 – 25 June
Tuesday 20 June was Mummy’s birthday and she travelled to Southampton to go on a cruise for two nights. Lucky Mummy!
We stayed at Nana’s and Grandad’s. It was BOILING! Wednesday was the hottest day of the year.
Thursday – boiling again. Mummy travelling home, but her flight was delayed due to thunderstorms so she missed her train connection and got home Friday morning instead. A much cooler today. We were so glad to see Mummy!
On 24 June, big bro Luke went to help our cousin and Grandad work clearing a garden and Mummy and I met them at a coffee shop with a fab pond.
26 – 30 June
Monday – Lea’s last day of college! She gained a Distinction and Merit for the year, we are SO proud of her. It was grey and cloudy but soooo hot – over 20 degrees!
It rained on Tuesday in the morning, luckily I had my gorgeous raincoat from Lighthouse! It was then grey but really warm again. Mummy was trying to catch up on her work from last week.
On Wednesday, my Uncle G was rushed into hospital. I can’t go into details, thank goodness he is ok now but it was a very, very scary time.
I had a fantastic new Cars 3 Lego set on Thursday and we opened it in the cafe after school, I wanted to see it all SO much!
So, another month gone, just like that! It is crazy how the months are flying by. We hope you had a good June.
