Choosing the right destination in a country as big as Australia that will suit the whole family can be a challenging but exciting task. As the second biggest city in Australia, Melbourne is one of the country’s most traveled destinations. We could visit a lot of attractions and activities while here. From thrilling outdoor adventures to interactive museums to wildlife parks, we would certainly have loads to do in Melbourne. There are plenty of car hire in Melbourne airport that we can take advantage of to make our trip more convenient and stress-free.

Scienceworks

The teens would just love all the exciting things about science and technology at Scienceworks. It is an interactive exhibit that showcases the latest and exhilarating ways how science changes every day life. We would all enjoy this attraction as it is super interesting and entertaining. Also, it is easily accessible by car and public transport, since it is just five minutes away from the city centre..

Melbourne Museum

One of the top attractions in Melbourne is the Melbourne Museum. It is an amazing venue that is dedicated to Australian social and natural history, environment, science, and indigenous cultures. Even us children would have a great time exploring this museum, for there are loads of interactive exhibits ideal for young ages.

Enchanted Adventure Garden

If we wanted a more fun trip with nature, then we would head to Enchanted Adventure Garden. Situated on the Mornington Peninsula, this wonderful attraction offers various exciting activities, such as zip line, hedge, canopy walks, mini and indoor 3D mazes, and tube slides. It is definitely worth a visit.

Melbourne Zoo

We love visiting places to see different kinds of animals. Visiting the Melbourne Zoo is one of the best things to do while in the city. There are more than 320 species that can be found in this natural setting. We could also enjoy strolling through its lush African and Asian rainforests as well as Australian bushland and underwater.
