We have changed how we record our days – we have kept a daily diary in the form of Project 365 and then Photo a Day for over two and a half years up till last October, and switched to more weekly round ups from November. It is lovely to look back on, but a lot of work to keep up with. So welcome to another Weekly Catch Up for 2017.
Goodness when is the weather going to get better? A week of grey clouds, rain, cold and miserable weather. It did brighten late in the day a couple of times, but nothing more!
MeeMee (my biggest sister) injured her ankle badly in a horrible incident on Saturday night. Somebody spiked her friends drink and her friend couldn’t walk and fell on MeeMee. We met Daddy for lunch on Sunday, and do you like my drawing? Look closely and see the thought bubble where the guy ‘thought’ he left his car!!!
A week of school – the days are just too long and I really don’t like morning assembly! I am reading lots and lots though and doing really well. Mummy took MeeMee to A&E on Tuesday night as her foot was feeling worse. They waited three hours and the doctor said MeeMee had torn the ligaments in her foot. She has to wear an air brace (like a removable leg plaster). Mummy worked all week from home, but she escaped on Wednesday to go to Ladies Day – the horse racing at Cheltenham. She went with biggest sis, MeeMee and they had a wonderful time. They stayed over night in Bristol, MeeMee went back to her house and Uni and Mummy came home.
They had beautiful weather – blue skies, sunshine and 21 degrees! We had cloud and fog!
My monthly Go Jetters magazine arrived on Thursday – I LOVE getting this through the door! I had a lovely day on Saturday, I went to a friends birthday party in the morning. It was my first time at the leisure centre, there was a bouncy castle and lots of bikes and trikes in the sports hall. It was very noisy! I don’t like a lot of noise. In the afternoon I went, with Mummy, Lea, Nana and Grandad to Folly Farm. We saw a baby donkey who was only three days old!
I hope we have some sunshine soon!
How has your week been?
