We have changed how we record our days – we have kept a daily diary in the form of Project 365 and then Photo a Day for over two and a half years up till last October, and switched to more weekly round ups from November. It is lovely to look back on, but a lot of work to keep up with. So welcome to our Weekly Catch Up for 2017.
We started the week by heading up to Heathrow last Sunday, arriving at our Travelodge at teatime. Planes were right above us and it was very exciting. It was freezing cold though.
We were up at 5.30am to go to Terminal 4 to meet MeeMee, my eldest sister off her plane from Thailand. She was really poorly over there with food poisoning so we were so happy to see her. We drove her to Bristol as she had to get back for Uni but we had a few hours with her which was lovely. The weather was awful driving home and we just missed a nasty accident.
Tuesday was awful wet weather with a weird warm sunny spell in between. I came home with my first homework and a school diary / planner. I have to practice sounding out these words. On Wednesday we had a frosty start and a brighter day.
Thursday – freezing cold but bright and sunny in the morning. Mummy went for a long walk along Amroth seafront with Nana as she felt like she had a bit more energy and wanted to make the most of the sunshine.
Friday was another day of school and work at home for Mummy. We haven’t been doing much as the weather isn’t great and I just want to go straight home after school. Mummy has been exhausted after the long drive to Heathrow. Mummy has a lovely treat to look forward to though, she has been invited with MeeMee to Ladies Day at the Cheltenham Gold Cup races next month! A full VIP day out and she is very excited.
We couldn’t wait for Saturday and had a quick trip out into Pembroke for coffee and cake then a real movie fest with Home and The Jungle Book. A grey, freezing cold day. We don’t min the cold but wish it was sunny too.
How has your week been?
