Story Stars Creature Review

I do love all things cuddly, and have been loving Story Stars Creature – Toby Tales which was sent to me by the lovely people at Mookie a little while ago.

Story Stars Creature Review

He is the softest creature – I think he is a very friendly alien. His proper name is Toby Tales, but I have renamed him Snuggles!

He is a lovely snuggly creature to take to bed, but he also has a couple of very special secret features too.

Mummy downloaded the Story Stars app and connected him to her phone using Bluetooth (what a funny name – don’t know who he is, but he magically made Snuggle do some awesome things!).

She opened the app and added my name and birthday, and her email. She then went to the next page and we chose a story that I liked the sound of – Little Red Spacesuit. Mummy clicked on the little symbol and then Snuggles connected to the phone. He has to be quite close to the phone, and I pressed a little button on his tummy to sync him.

It did take about ten minutes, but the story was uploaded to Snuggles, and then I could listen to it whenever I wanted to because he has built in memory. After twenty minutes he turns off too – I should be asleep by then!

There lots and lots of different stories to upload – and music too. There is a button on his tummy to start and stop the recording, and skip through the tracks. The coolest thing though is that Mummy (or anyone) can record a message or story for me via the app, and upload it for me to listen to!

The other lovely thing about Snuggles is that his tummy is a wonderful night light, and it projects lovely shapes like moons and stars on to the ceiling. I LOVED this! The light turns blue, red, then green. It is really soothing.

You need the internet to download the app, and then Bluetooth to upload the tracks.

Here is a little video advert to show you more:

The Story Stars from Mookie are around £29.99 – look out for any special offers.

The best news of all is that we have a Story Stars creature to give away to one lucky reader – you can choose which one you would like. What a lovely prize in time for Christmas!

There is Toby Tales (the one I have), Luby Lullaby, Freddie Fable, Teddi Tales or Kori Story.

Just answer the question below – ‘Who would you give your Story Stars creature to if you won?’
