Selwood Sandpit Review

I love being in the garden, and I love sand and water play, so I was a very happy little boy when Selwood got in touch to see if I would like to review a sandpit.

Now, I must explain that Mummy has had some technical problems our end, and has been unable to add any of our photos to this post – but, she is keen to share our review with you as it is such a great sandpit, if you are thinking of buying one.

The Selwood Sandpit is a great size at a metre square, and 17 centimetres deep. The sandpit is made of top quality cedar wood which has a TEN YEAR guarantee! How fab is that? With Free Mainland UK Delivery, it is a bargain at only £29.99. Order before 3pm for 48 hour delivery.

The sandpit comes in a flat pack kit, which is super easy to put together, everything is pre-drilled and included so it is ready to go. You just need to add sand – roughly 10 bags of play sand.

Selwood Sandpit Review

The sandpit comes with a canvas groundsheet to stop any weeds growing through, AND a waterproof cover to keep the sand dry and inaccessible to cats and other animals. It is great to know that my sandpit can be covered when I am not playing in it. I can keep my sand toys in there too.

There are also four corner seats, so I can sit with my friends to play.

The sandpit is strong, sturdy, top quality and I love it!

Thank you Selwood!

Visit the website. It is easy to use, and has Live Chat if you want to talk to someone. Selwood sells climbing frames, play houses and much more more too.

  1. I love this sandpit it’s like a proper park one, not like the rubbishy plastic ones you see in the shop x

  2. Aww, I remember having a sandpit when I was a kid and having SOOOOOO much fun in there! I love anything that encourages kids to get outside and switch off from their tech. x

  3. This looks like loads of fun! I love sandpits but I’m always worried about cats and stuff. The cover would sort that right now!

  4. I love these kind of sand pits, I think they look the most aesthetically pleasing in the garden. We have a huge plastic Apple shaped one and it is not the most beautiful. The price of this is amazing, just under £30! I only saw these for over £40 so next time we re-do the garden I will have to pick one of these up.

  5. We have never bought a sandpit for our little boy but keep thinking about it. The thing that puts me off is it getting wet all the time as normally the covers are rubbish. Will be looking at these ones and hopefully be getting one!

  6. Ohhhh fab!! This looks like SO much fun! I like that it comes with a cover – will also help to keep the cats out! I miss my children being young enough for a sand pit, although I bet they’d still enjoy one now – Even I’d enjoy a sandpit haha. xx

  7. Oh wow, that looks great; really substantial! Very good value, by the looks of it.
