Fab Five for Friday Halloween 2

Hello again – as promised, my weekly Fab Five for Friday is all about Halloween again! Here are 5 more things we either have been, or will be doing to celebrate Halloween.

Halloween fab five

1. Making cute mini pumpkins out of clementines – simply by drawing a spooky face on with a marker pen.

2. Doing the same with orange peppers! Aren’t they cute!

3. Going for lovely long walks in our local woods – we love the changing colours of the trees, and kicking the leaves. I love doing this dressed ready for Halloween!

4. Pumpkin carving – or drawing on, which seems to be a bit of a craze this year. Use battery operated tea lights in your pumpkin for safety if you do carve it out, and to stop it blowing out.

5. Making more crafts – the simpler the better – we have had lots of fun making more this year.

I hope you have enjoyed reading my Fab Five for Friday Halloween. With half term next week and Halloween at the end, I am looking forward to some family time with my sis and bro – and seeing my biggest sis too. I look forward to sharing it all with you, and hope you have a wonderful week.

What are you doing for Halloween and half term?

  1. ahhh those mini pumpkins are so cute! Love the orange pepper! We will also be carving pumpkins next week (lambs first one!) thanks for the fab tip about electric tea lights! X

  2. I love Halloween so had to come by and check out your fab five for Halloween, I adore those peppers and clementines, I’d never thought of doing things like that before! If you use an edible pen, they can still be consumed, which is much better than pumpkins, well in my household anyway as they go to waste! I need to get the arts and crafts box out and start thinking of some activities, I’m slacking this year in that department! xx

  3. I can’t quite believe the size of those pumpkins, they’re huge, I live in a very small town in Cornwall, which only has one supermarket and the pumpkin range they have in at the moment is tiny. I love what you done with the oranges and pumpkins, they’ll be great for my younger grandchildren to do as they have sensory processing and don’t like the insides of pumpkins, I must admit as an adult, scooping out pumpkins isn’t the nicest of jobs x

  7. I love the clementine and pepper idea, we will be doing this for sure, much less mess than pumpkin carving!

  8. My two are still a bit too young to celebrate Halloween but I am thinking of taking the Toddler trick or Treating down our road. The thing is she hates wearing costumes so she may just have to go in her Halloween cat t-shirt.

  9. Fab ideas! I LOVE the orange pepper – I’m going to get some, they look so cute :) Pumpkin carving is the original and the best Halloween activity :)

  10. Those are fab ideas! Peppers are easier to prepare than pumkins and easier to use afterwards. And such lovely photos. #binkylinky
