To Blog or not to Blog?

July has been a tricky month.

The school holidays have come around so fast, and whilst Mummy loves having everyone at home, and no school run, she also knew that it would be tricky for her to work as much as she needs to.

Here we are at the end of the month, and that is how it has been. For one reason or another, there has been no-one to look after me as much as before, there have been so many different ‘things’ going on, and, I guess life has got in the way.

We have had some great days out, and an interesting camping holiday, with little WiFi and chance for Mummy to work.

blog or not

Mummy has been very sad too – she tries to keep smiling, and tells us all that everything is ok, but clearly it isn’t. I hope that Mummy feels better very soon.

This has meant that Mummy hasn’t quite blogged the same as the last few months, she hasn’t joined in as many linkys or commented as much as she should have. Then she worries. She worries that all her hard work over the last 18 months will be damaged by this, and that our blog will slip and lose visitors.

I want to say – Mummy please don’t worry. Life is more important, being with me (and my bro and sisters) is more important than any blog or anything.

We have been making memories – having fun, enjoying being together – even when it is a bit stressful – we are such a close family, and we all need you to be happy, to enjoy each day.

The blog can wait. Reviews can wait. You can catch up on all your commenting and posts and everything.

We just want our Mummy to get back to being her usual happy self, enjoying every moment of every day. We have so much. We have each other. We have our health, and we have so much love.

  5. You’re family are so lucky to have each other, and a wonderful Mummy like Kaz. It makes me so sad that she isn’t her usual self, and I wish I could do more to help but we are so far away. I hope she gets to her happy place as you and your brother and sisters are wonderful and she has an amazing family to enjoy. Time and energy is wasted being sad, and not appreciating what a vary full glass you have. Kaz, you have the greenest grass just where you are, don’t look over the fence as everything you need is right under your nose. Please please look after yourself lovely. Bigs hugs xxx

  7. You have hit the nail on the head with that last line! Sometimes I feel as if blogging takes over everything. Quite a paradox, as it was supposed to be just a spare-time hobby.

  8. how very true these words are. Hope everything turns out well soon. School vacations can get a bit crazy and overwhelming and really, as a parent, we want to spend as much time with our kids as we can. I’m sure once school starts back up everything will be back to normal

  9. I sometimes feel this way too, some times I think about quiting but there’s a side of me that needs to push on and find ways to fit it all in. Good luck and I think it’s perfectly fine to take breaks from your blog from time to time.
