I know, I know, 31 months isn’t a proper age really, but it must be, because on the 12th, earlier this week, I turned 31 months old.
Aaarrgghhh! That means I am officially closer to being 3 than I am to being 2. 5 months in fact. 5 MONTHS until I am 3. How can that be?
Mummy can’t believe it.
Three years ago – Mummy was pregnant with me, she had had her first scan, so had seen me, but she didn’t know I was a baby boy yet.
Two years ago – I had just turned 7 months old.
So, what am I up to now?
I am literally any minute about to start potty training. I am very excited, I have a potty for the night time, with a light, a multi-stage potty that turns into a little toilet seat, and a portable carry potty! We are trying potty training pads, and I have big boy SpiderMan pants!
I walk everywhere. I NEVER ask to be carried, ever. Mummy brings my pushchair with us, and if I am tired, I do go in it (after a meltdown) but generally, I love to walk.
I am tall. Everyone comments on how tall I am. Mummy really must get me a height chart to see exactly how tall I am.
I still have my gorgeous curly hair. Everyone comments on that too!
My speech continues to amaze and surprise everyone. This too is something that is talked about. A lot.
I went into my big boys bed … without any fuss at all. And I sleep there all night. I now share a room with Luke. My family thought I would climb into bed with him, but I haven’t. If I wake, I go into Mummy and climb into bed with her. We then have HUGE cuddles and I hug her very tightly and very closely. It is lovely.
The first few times I woke, I knocked on Mummy’s door (Sheldon from Big Bang Theory style) like ‘knock, knock, knock….Penny? knock, knock, knock….Penny?) Mummy couldn’t help laughing!
I have been having meltdowns and tantrums on rather an epic scale. But it’s just my age 😉

Sheety (and dummy) still.
Watching YouTube on my iPad. The more random the better. For example, I ask Mummy for SpiderMan eggs. And Cars films, and old favourite Disney Collector!

Visiting Granny Jane and playing with the animals, dinosaurs, train track and cars.
Going to the beach.
Visiting ‘Nice coffee shops’
I don’t like…
Going anywhere that I don’t want to go!
Oh I still have only 12 teeth, and I go most days without a nap now – I do at Nanas on a Tuesday, and sometimes in the car on other days. That’s why I am having more meltdowns.
My shoe size is 7 1/2 G or F.
I am in size 2-3 clothes – somethings 18-24 months do still fit me.
I love any clothes with any Superheros on.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this little snapshot of my life as it is right now
