One of my favourite places in Pembrokeshire is Folly Farm in Begelly. It is a farm and a zoo, and also has an indoor vintage funfair and HUGE play area for all ages. There are lots of play areas outside, a big wheel, mini diggers and much more. There are some amazing animals there, here are my favourites. I think I am a bit of an expert now, Bank Holiday Monday 26 May 2014 was my eighth visit and I am only 19 months old! This is about that visit.
This is an Ocelot. He is a beautiful big cat, and I think he looks like Chico, my cat. I love seeing him, and would love to cuddle him! I say ‘meow, meow’ to him. It was a sunny day and he was washing himself in the sun 🙂
From when I first saw them , I LOVE the camels. I call them ‘cabels’ Mummy doesn’t know why I love them so much. I talk about them all the time. They are shedding their coats now, so look a bit shabby. There are two of them, but this time we only took photos of one.
Another favourite of mine are the Giraffes. They are so tall and funny looking. I love them. There are four I think at Folly Farm.
There are penguins too, and guess what? The first baby one has been born! So exciting, I can’t wait to see him. He was there, but inside his box with his mummy and daddy!
We had lunch in Carousel Woods, the indoor play area, and then Luke had a go on the diggers, lifting heavy shapes. He was really, really good at it!
The next time I go, the lions may have arrived. Their new home is being built right now. I can’t wait, how brilliant to have lions in Pembrokeshire!
Folly Farm and Zoo is a really great place to visit for all the family. You can use Tesco Clubcard vouchers to pay for entry, there are annual passes too. If you get your ticket stamped, you can return within 7 days for half price.
Search Folly Farm at the top of my blog to see my other posts 🙂
We have not received anything for writing this post, I just wanted to share this wonderful day out with you.
